Dorothy Dorzweiler

Dorothy (Bergem) Dorzweiler, age 84, passed away at Ascension Mercy Medical Center, Oshkosh, Wisconsin on Friday, November 20, 2020. Dorothy was born on September 13, 1936 in Appleton, to the late Frank and Grace (Paukow) Bergem. Dorothy was a loving wife, aunt and friend to many. Dorothy was employed at Home Mutual Insurance Company when she first married and then at the bakery at Gimbels. Dorothy enjoyed golfing, gardening, traveling to Hawaii, New Zealand, Australia, cruising with her husband Robert (Joe), and was an avid sport watcher especially her beloved Packers and Badgers. She had many dear friends and neighbors who she enjoyed having lunch with often.

Survivors include her sister in laws Addie (Donald) Dorzweiler, Carol (George) Dorzweiler and Doris (Walter) Dorzweiler and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Robert (‘Joe’), sister in laws Helen (Dorzweiler) Wenzel, Patricia (Dorzweiler) Lotzer, Barbara (Kiefer) Dorzweiler, Ann Dorzweiler and Verda Dorzweiler; brother-in laws Elmer Dorzweiler, William Dorzweiler, Donald Dorzweiler, Walter Dorzweiler, George Dorzweiler, Harold Dorzweiler, John Dorzweiler, George Wenzel and James Lotzer.

A Funeral Service will be held for Dorothy at 11 AM on Monday, November 30, 2020 at Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Family and friends may visit at the chapel from 10 AM to the time of service. Entombment will follow.  The service may be viewed via Livestream by visiting this site on the day of the service.
