Donna V. Rippl

Donna V. Rippl, age 88 of Menasha, passed away on May 4, 2016 at the Neenah VNA after a courageous battle with Dementia and Cancer. On July 11th, 1927, Donna Veronica was born in Menasha to the late Frank G. and Paula (Rueckl) Rippl. During high school Donna was a member of the National Honor Society. Upon graduating from St. Mary High School, Donna spent time assisting in the family business, FG Rippl Grocery Store and then went on to work for over 40 years at George A. Whiting Paper Company (Menasha) as an executive assistant to ownership. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Menasha.

Donna will be missed by her loving sister Magdalene (Clem) Rass as well as the Rippl, Kirsling and Rass nieces, nephews and their families along with other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Herbert Rippl, Paul (Marilla) Rippl: her sisters Aurea (William) McLaughlin, Cecelia (Harry) Pawlowski, Marie (Bill) Kirsling, Rose Rippl and Betty Rippl, and niece Paula (Rass) Michalkiewicz.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Donna will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at St. Mary Catholic Church (528 Second St., Menasha) with Fr. Paul Paider officiating. Visitation will be held at church from 10:00 AM until the time of mass. interment will take place in the F.G. Rippl plot at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Menasha.

The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Valley VNA for their superb care of Donna as well as the staff of Theda Care at Home Hospice for the care given to Donna during her final days.
