Donna F. Cooper, age 88 of Greenville, WI passed away on December 13, 2025. She was born to the late Hugo and Ottila “Tillie” (Meyer) Wettstein on February 2, 1937 in Chilton, WI. Donna married Edward Cooper, son of Frank and Helen (Oster) Cooper in April of 1963. Donna was a member of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception in Greenville, WI. She attended Chilton High School, Badger Business College, and the University of Green Bay. She was also a member of the US Air Force, serving in Texas.
Donna was employed at Theda Clark Hospital in the records department, St. Mary’s Church, and Balco and Ellington Machine Company. Donna was a volunteer at the Community Clothes Closet, St. Vincent de Paul, and St. Mary’s Church in Greenville for many years. Donna liked office work, dancing, gardening, sewing, and the outdoors. She also liked embroidery and other crafts, playing sheepshead, and traveling.
Donna will be missed by her siblings, Lloyd, Neil, and Barbara; as well as many nieces, nephews, other extended relatives, and dear friends.
Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Ed; her parents; Ed’s parents; her siblings, Gerald and Peggy; Ed’s siblings, Elmer and Alice; her niece, Donna; her nephew, Jim; and several other relatives and friends.
A funeral visitation will be held for Donna from 9-11 AM on Friday, December 19, 2025 at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Parish, N2385 Municipal Dr, Greenville, WI 54942 with a mass to follow at 11 AM. Donna will be laid to rest with her husband at St. Mary Church Cemetery in Greenville, WI at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Donna would’ve preferred potted plants or a donation to one of the organizations she volunteered with.
Donna’s family would like to extend a special thanks to her neighbors who helped her over the years as well as the doctors, nurses, and other supporting staff at the several facilities who took care of her the last few months. Your kindness, compassion, and care will not be forgotten.
