After enduring a three year battle with breast cancer Diane entered heaven on January 13, 2016.
Diane was born on October 7, 1965 to Lenwood C. and Lorna (Weinhold) Hamilton in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. Diane lived most of her life in Neenah and Greenville, Wisconsin. Diane was employed by Guardian Life Insurance for over 26 years where she developed strong friendships with co-workers from all over the country. Many of these friends still reach out to her today.
Diane's favorite past-times were fishing, camping in Hatley, Wisconsin with Dennis and Theresa, road trips and spending time on the Harley, with Norman her best friend and confidante whom she married September 4, 2015.
Survivors include her husband Norman Kons of Greenville, along with her daughters Mackenzie and Brianne. Other survivors include: Gary Timm, father of her daughters; mother, Lorna (Mel Van Wychen); siblings Valerie Hamilton; Mark (Wendy) Hamilton, daughters Melissa Hamilton and Jennifer (Zay) Jackson; Sandra (Jim) Valence, daughters Laurin and Emily; Kenneth Hamilton.
Diane is further survived by Norman's children and grandchildren: Kristin (Andy) Lauer, Marissa, Nathan, Olivia and Logan; Adam (Tammy) Kons, Hailey, Sawyer, Kadence, Seth; Alicia (Chris) Burrill.
Diane was blessed with a very large extended family of Timms and Kons members whom she cherished for their friendship and continuous love and support.
Preceding her in death were her father Lenwood Hamilton, in-laws Gary and Catherine Timm, along with numerous aunts and uncles.
The visitation will take place at Faith Lutheran Church, 601 E. Glendale Avenue, Appleton, Wisconsin on Saturday, January 16 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Jim Wiebel will be officiating.
