David J. LeMay

David Joseph LeMay, age 60 of Kaukauna, WI passed away unexpectedly on March 20, 2023.  David was born in Green Bay, WI on July 3, 1962, the son of Richard and Phyllis (Jacques) LeMay.  He graduated from Kaukauna High School with the class of 1980 and went on to work as a glass bender for a few sign-making companies throughout his life.  These companies gave him the unique opportunity to utilize his vast creativity and make some truly beautiful things. 

David was a very artistic man.  He loved attending as many art shows and fairs as possible.  David was known for his signs and his glass work, but also built incredibly complicated and eye-catching models as a hobby.  You could often find David fishing for trout out on the lake and golfing in the Pembine Open every year. 

David is survived by his brother, Thomas (Denise) LeMay; his nephews and nieces, Jamie (S.O. Andy) Paalman, Jesse (Raini) LeMay, and Alyssa (Nate) Kaiser; as well as many other extended relatives and dear friends, especially Tony, Jerry, and Dan.   

David is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Phyllis LeMay; and his sister-in-law, Susan LeMay.

A memorial visitation will be held for David on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 9-11 AM at St. Katharine-Drexel Catholic Church – St. Mary Site, 119 W. 7^th St, Kaukauna, WI 54130 with a mass to follow at 11 AM.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Pillars Adult Shelter in Appleton or, if you're able to be so whole-heartedly selfless and generous, register to become an organ donor through American Tissue Services Foundation in honor of David.  The links to which can be found below.
