Daniel R. Babcock

Daniel Robert Babcock, 68, passed away at home on December 9, 2025. He was born on February 21, 1957, to his parents Vern and Mary (Halloran) Babcock.

He was born and raised in Minnesota. He came from a family of 8. He moved to Oklahoma in 1985. He met the love of his life Corrine in Oklahoma in 1986. They married in 1988. They spent 29 years there before moving to Wisconsin in 2013. They spent 39 wonderful years together.

Dan had such a caring heart. He was the kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his back. He was also a jokester, although his jokes mostly made sense only to him. He loved wrestling. Especially watching with his granddaughter. He was a huge Minnesota Vikings fan. Every time they were on, he stopped what was going on so he could watch. He loved his motorcycles. He had to leave his Harley in Oklahoma. But he made up for it by collecting toy models. Him and Corrine would also have a blast at the casinos. Above everything, he loved his family.

He is survived by his wife Corrine, daughter Jaime (Matt) Carlson, stepchildren Ryan (Nicole) Jagdfeld, Aaron (Christy) Jagdfeld; grandchildren: Claire, Ava, Abby, Adam, Meghan; siblings Jim (Gayle) Babcock, Randee Hoff, Jane Fletcher, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dan is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Ellen, Margaret, Victor, Steve.

Per Dan’s wishes, there will be no formal memorial service. There will be a celebration of life at a later time.
