Daniel Wayne Arnold died unexpectedly but peacefully at Brewster Village Rehab on Friday, March 13, 2026. He was born in Manitowoc, WI on May 15, 1968, to Roger and Patti Jo Arnold.

Dan grew up in Appleton WI and graduated from Appleton West High School in 1987. He was a man of great strength and integrity and had a deep faith in God. He worked hard at every job he held from Valley Bank, Drug Emporium, Jansport and most recently at Partnership Community Health Center. He lived his life with positivity, made lifelong friends, and brought love, acceptance and laughter to everyone he knew.

He was a fiercely independent man who lived his challenging life with strength, determination, perseverance and dignity, while spreading his humor, his kindness and his caring with everyone.

He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, camping and took meticulous care of his lawn, while helping his neighbors when he could. He brought joy into the lives of so many people, was proud of his family and so supportive of everyone.

Life was not easy for him, but he rarely complained and accepted each challenge with unbelievable strength and courage, accomplishing and exceeding his goals. If you knew Dan, consider yourself blessed, as he has left a piece of him with you forever.

He is survived by his mother, Patti Jo Arnold, his brother Steve (Pam) Arnold, nieces Mariah (Kyle) Peotter, Morgan (Brent) Radlinger, nephew, Cody(special friend Ellie Estermann) Gaber, great nieces and nephew, Brooklyn, Taya and Riggs Peotter and Reese, Averie and Lucy Radlinger, aunts and uncles, Sue Arnold LaMarche, Larry Bell, Trudy Thibodeau, Joe (Stacey) Thibodeau and many loving cousins and friends.

He is deceased by his father, Roger Arnold, his grandparents, Emmett and Marie Arnold, Floyd and Henrietta (Hank) Thibodeau, Marian Thibodeau, aunts and uncles, Eunice Bell, Wayne Arnold, Shirley Ann (Donny) Schiessl, David and Jean Thibodeau and cousins, David Arnold, Terry Birkholz, and Josh Thibodeau.

A special thank you to the tremendous ICU staff at Theda Care Appleton, the kind and caring staff in the Outagamie section of Brewster Village, as well as the OT and PT staff. You were not only there for Dan, but for each of us. And a special thank you to Marlin and Lois Fiestadt and Marilyn Drager, his wonderful neighbors who were always looking out for him.

A memorial service for Dan will take place on Monday March 30, 2026, at 11:00am at Immanuel Lutheran Ministries, W7265 School Road, Greenville. Friends and family may gather at the church from 9:00am until the service begins.
