In loving memory of Cynthia Lou Bodway, nee Laux. Mom passed to heaven into the arms of our Savior, Jesus, after a long courageous battle with MS.

She graduated from Appleton East High School in 1974. She was employed by Management Science and Printron. Cindy was a loving mother to her only son, Bryce, and enjoyed spending time on Lake Winnebago and Lake Michigan boating, bowling, scuba diving, sturgeon spearing, and in her later years hearing about what the grandchildren were up to.

She is survived by her son Bryce (Jessica) Bodway and grandchildren Aubrey, Naysa, Silas, and Orson. In addition, she is survived by her siblings Chris (Dennis) Boldt, Kathy (John) Schuh, Karla (Joel) Seidler, Colleen (John) Altman, Kevin (Lois) Laux, Kenneth Laux and many nieces and nephews.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents James and Louella (Frederick) Laux and sister Connie Swanson.

Our family would like to thank all the staff at Edenbrook of Appleton and Unity Hospice for their care of mom.

A memorial service will take place at 5:00pm on July 27, 2026, at Wichmann Funeral Home-Tri County Chapel, 1592 S Oneida Street, Menasha. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home from 4:00pm until the service begins.
