Today we say goodbye to the sweetest, most wonderful spouse anyone could have. Corki passed at 1230 on December 11, 2025, from dementia. Completely unexpected, I had her in short stay hospice to help get my health issues in order. I was making long term arrangements for Corki, we expected a year or more. While I was checking out long term accommodations, I got the call “come now, the end is near”. I arrived in time to console her and held her hand until she passed. My wonderful wife is with the ages; she passed comfortably at peace. Never again will I experience that beautiful person of 50 years. She will be sorely missed. All of this was completely unexpected. She is in God’s hands, and everyone had a chance to say goodbye.

I can’t say enough good things about all the care people that helped over the last year. I owe them a debt I can’t repay. We shared each other’s passions. She eagerly helped with my aircraft flying, never complained and always had a smile. I regret every impatient moment I had with her; she truly deserved someone better than me. But she ignored all of my faults and always helped. This kind of devotion in a person is one in a million. I don’t know how I got so lucky. Corki, I truly love you and you will always be with me…

This was completely unexpected and there are a million things I should have said. Goodbye my love. I hope I added sunshine to your life. I know she is in God’s hands and we will meet again. As much trouble this disease causes, patience will be rewarded. On some level they do appreciate our help. God bless us all. Cherish every moment. Goodbye my love.
