Connie "CJ" Hobbs

Connie Joanne Hobbs (Spang) "CJ", 69 passed away peacefully with her family by her side on November 3, 2023, after a courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer. She was born on October 13, 1954, to the late Florian and June (Moran) Spang. 

She graduated from St. Mary Central High School, class of 1972. After receiving her associate degree, she went on to be a dental assistant, retiring in 2016.

Connie loved to travel. Some of her endeavors include Spain, France, Amsterdam, Australia, Belgium & lived in Saudi Arabia for a while. She even got "stoned" there. Take that however you wish.

On any given weekend for many years, you could find her at her favorite watering hole, The Wheel Inn, socializing, watching the Packers or Badgers & singing Karaoke. She loved to sing and had the most beautiful voice. Connie was a huge Packers & Badgers fan. She was kind to everyone she ever met and just a wonderful lady.

She is survived by her children, Andrew (Niki) Campbell, Katherine "KT" Hobbs (special friend, Chris Hale), grandchildren Acelynn and Cainan Justison and their father, Ryan Justison. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She is further survived by her siblings and their spouses, (Carol) Spang, Patricia Whitney, (Judy) Spang, Cheryl Hibbard, (Theresa) Spang, Kevin Spang, Daniel (Kim) Spang, Mary (Mark) Smith, Barry Spang and Craig Spang. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, many friends and her very best friend, Nancy Ohst.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Peter, Steven, Kendall, Ronald and David. 

The memorial service for Connie will be held at 4:00 pm on 11/11 at the Laemmrich Funeral Home, 312 Milwaukee St., Menasha.  Visitation will take place from 2:00 pm until the time of service.
