Cole Anthony Keberlein of Kaukauna, WI passed away unexpectedly at the age of 28 on November 21, 2024. He was born to Peter Keberlein and Kerri (Van Stiphout) Jansen on July 26, 1996 in Neenah, WI. After graduating from high school, he worked a couple of jobs within the Little Chute school district, but was most recently a Teacher’s Assistant for the elementary school kids. Though he never had children of his own, he was beloved by all the kids whose lives he helped shape for the better.
Nobody for sure knows why, but Cole loved Philadelphia's sports teams and always cheered for the Phillies and the Eagles above any other teams. He also was known for his love of wrestling – mostly watching, but sometimes participating. Cole loved hanging out with his friends and family, especially playing video games with his little brothers, watching sports, or enjoying anime. He treasured his camping trips with his family and cherished every other moment he spent with his parents, step-parents, siblings, grandparents, and everyone else who was part of his family, whether by birth, by marriage, or by pure love.
Cole will be deeply missed by his parents, Kerri (Darrick) Jansen and Pete Keberlein; his siblings, Evan Keberlein, Riley Keberlein, Alex Jansen, and Nathan Jansen; his grandparents Dennis and Sandy Van Stiphout, Lyn Keberlein, and Ronald Jansen; his aunts and uncles, Suzanne (Jeff) Cysiewski, Michelle Van Stiphout, Shari Van Stiphout, Jessica (Todd) Finch, Amy Jansen; his cousins, Matt, Nathan (Page), Aloura (Red), Ashley (Tort), Adam, Skye (Trevor), Emily, Anthony ,Sam, Kaden (Atlanta), and Ariya; and many good friends, especially his friend John Koester and his family.
Mr. Cole will also be deeply missed by his co-workers at the Little Chute school district and all his “Little Buddies” that meant the world to him.
Cole is preceded in death by his grandmother, Pat Jansen; William Keberlein; his aunts and uncles, Patty and Ken Bodde, Todd Jansen, and April Nooyen (close family friend).
A funeral visitation will be held for Cole from 11 AM – 2 PM on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St, Appleton, WI 54911 with a time of sharing to follow at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established to help with both his funeral expenses as well as to help the Little Chute School District.
