Christopher M. Mott

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of an extraordinary man, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Chris Mott found peace on June 29th, 2026 and left this world surrounded by family and the love he spent a lifetime giving so freely to others.

To know Chris was to know a man of unwavering character, compassion, and boundless love. He lived by simple but powerful truths: family comes first, hard work makes life’s joys sweeter, moments are meant to be enjoyed, and love is what matters most. These beliefs were not just words to him, they were the foundation upon which he built his life and the legacy he leaves behind.

As a husband, he was an incredible partner and provider, a best friend, and the source of endless support. As a father and grandfather, he was a teacher, protector, storyteller, and champion. He showed those he loved what it meant to live with integrity, humility, and kindness. His greatest pride was not found in accomplishments or possessions, but in the family he cherished beyond measure.

Chris found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Whether he was out on the golf course, casting a line in a quiet lake, or sharing laughter around a campfire, he embraced every opportunity to connect with the people and places he loved. Nowhere brought him greater happiness than the “Mott Spot”, the lakeside cottage that he and his wife, Mary, built in Wisconsin’s Northwoods. It was there that he truly slowed down, soaked in life’s beauty, and created countless memories that his family and friends will treasure forever.

His presence could fill, or be found in the quiet spots of a room, not because he demanded attention, but because he made everyone feel welcome and valued. He had a way of reminding us what truly matters: spending time together, helping others, working hard for what we have, appreciating the little things, and loving without reservation.

Though our hearts ache in his absence, we find comfort in knowing that his lessons, laughter, and love will continue to guide us. His spirit lives on in the family he adored, the friendships he nurtured, and the countless lives he touched simply by being himself. Chris will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and endlessly loved.

Chris’ family would like to give a special thanks to the incredible caregiving team at Silverstone Memory Care and Moments Hospice. We are grateful for the care and support you gave to “Mr. Chris” and our family during the time he was with you.
