Christopher M. Swanson

Christopher Swanson, passed away unexpectedly on his 39^th birthday, Friday, December 10, 2021. He was born December 10,1982 in Appleton, the son of Bruce and Donna (Twomey) Swanson.

He graduated from Kimberly High School in 2001 and attended Fox Valley Technical College. He was most recently employed as a truck driver and enjoyed the customers and colleagues he met and worked with throughout the years.

His love of family, boisterous personality, bellowing laugh and sharp wit made him easy to love. A faithful Wisconsin sports fan, he loved nothing more than pointing out every time the Bucks beat his mother’s beloved Boston Celtics. He also enjoyed fishing (especially on Loon Lake), playing video games, working on cars and sketching. He truly loved his kids and his family!

Chris is survived by: son Noah and daughter Mila; parents: Donna and Bruce; sister Emily Swanson (fiancé Brandon Lee): brother Curt (Stacy) Swanson: girlfriend Hannah Turner and her children Tayanna and Kylo; Grandmother Barbara A. Twomey (Grafton, MA) ; Aunts and Uncles: Barb and Chuck Rohloff (New London, WI), Kathy Wiesner and Rob Dealy (Woburn, MA), Rich and Kristine Twomey (Appleton, WI), Michelle and Joe Sanford (Uxbridge, MA), Erin and Steve Mruk (LaPlata, MD); niece and nephew Olivia and Ian Swanson; Cousins: Kellie, Lauren, Sean, Claire, Caroline, James, Patrick and John.

Chris was preceded in death by maternal grandfather: Richard P. Twomey and paternal grandparents: Doris M. and Carl A. Swanson

Visitation will be on Sunday, December 19,2021 from 4:30-7:30pm at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St, Appleton. A service will follow the visitation on Sunday evening. A private family interment will be held at St Joes Cemetery on Monday morning.
