Christine Ann Rusch, lovingly known as Chris and “Blondie,” passed away unexpectedly at her home on April 18, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on December 17, 1962, Chris brought warmth, kindness, and quiet joy into the lives of all who knew her.
Chris conquered all difficulties that came her way, achieving her diploma from Appleton East High School in 1982 and obtaining her driver’s license, milestones that reflected her determination and resilience.
Chris had a heart of gold, shown through her everyday acts of kindness and thoughtfulness. She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures, working on puzzles and crosswords, and coloring beautiful pictures that she lovingly shared with family members. These small but meaningful gestures reflected her generous spirit and deep love for those around her.
She will be remembered as a devoted daughter, a caring sister, and a beloved aunt whose presence brought comfort and smiles. Chris had a gentle way about her that made others feel at ease, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
She is survived by her sisters: Lorie (Donald) Olson, Brenda (Michael) Miller, Tari (Harlow) Drephal, and Lisa (David) Polzin, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.
Chris was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Virginia Rusch; her brothers, Alvin Rusch Jr. and Robert Rusch; and her sisters, Janice Warner and Jeanie Rusch.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Chris will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family and all whose lives she touched.
