Charles “Chuck” Scott Rynearson went to be with the Lord Jesus Saturday, October 9, 2021. He passed away from cardiac arrest due to complications from an autoimmune disorder. Chuck was a devoted servant of God, a faithful husband, and loving father.
Chuck was born in and spent his entire life in Wisconsin. He attended UW—Eau Claire before studying pharmacy at UW—Madison. It was at UW—Madison where Chuck met “the love of his life” and fellow pharmacy student, Cathy. Chuck and Cathy were married on December 7, 1980 in Waukesha at Elmbrook Church and celebrated their 40th anniversary this past December. Chuck went on to receive his MBA from UW—Milwaukee and had a long and successful career of 23 years at Network Health Plan before retiring in 2020.
Chuck lived his life to the fullest. He was a member of Calvary Bible Church where he taught several Sunday School and Bible study groups. In addition, Chuck loved the outdoors; he enjoyed sailing, skiing, scuba diving, running, and biking. He was known by his friends and family to be a great dancer; he spent many evenings ballroom dancing with his beloved wife Cathy.
Chuck was preceded by parents, Stanley and Maxine. He is survived by wife Cathy; sons, Steve (Shannon) and Dan; and siblings, Mark (Kathy), Dennis (Robin), Mike (Shelly), and Janelle (Luke).
A service will be held for Chuck at 3 PM this Thursday at Calvary Bible Church, 1450 Oakridge Rd, Neenah, with a visitation beginning at 2 PM. In honor of Chuck and others with compromised immune systems, the family requests that those attending please wear masks and practice social distancing. Flowers may be sent to Calvary Bible Church.
