Charles V. Jones

Charles V. Jones, age 82, of Neenah, passed away on April 8, 2023 at Parkside Senior Living in Neenah. Chuck was born on November 4, 1940 in Waukegan, Illinois to Vincent and Dorothy (Olsen) Jones. After high school the family moved to a house in Shiocton across from the airport. Charles would talk about how he loved to watch the airplanes fly in. He enjoyed it when his Mom would take him "uptown" to go shopping. After his Mom died in 1994, he moved into his own apartment in Appleton. He started working at Valley Packaging in 1994 and retired from there in 2021 at the start of COVID.

He enjoyed going downtown, visiting the library, and his weekly shopping trips where he found radios, clocks, and nightlights. He loved to tinker and enjoyed putting together Lego sets in his spare time. He enjoyed trains, airplanes and looking at the stars. His favorite meal out was a cheeseburger, french fries and a large Pepsi.

Private interment will be near his parents at St. Denis Cemetery in Shiocton.

He would want to thank the staff at Agape who were so kind and supported him for 27 years. He would also thank Dr. Mattio and his staff and the Primary Care Associates Team who helped him stay well and live so independently.

He would thank the staff at Parkside Senior Living and Preceptor Hospice for their support and care, especially in his final days.
