Cesar Daniel “King Cesar” Rens, age 21 of Menasha, a music man, football aficionado, and friend to everyone he met, passed away on December 1, 2015 of complications of blastomycosis that he encountered on a river tubing trip last summer. He will be truly missed by his family and countless friends whom he laughed, cried, supported, advised and argued with. His loud Baritone voice was welcomed at all festivals, parties and discussions. He loved music and wanted to help people enjoy life more with it by using different mixes.
He was born in Caracas, Venezuela on February 2, 1994 to proud mother Yenny Canas, Grandparents, Oscar and Magalys Canas who helped guide him. In April of 2002 because of a magical voyage and the marriage of his mom, Yenny, Daniel became the son of his proud father Thomas Rens. Then a short time later, came his favorite sister, Victoria. Dan loved playing baseball at Palisades Athletics. Many thanks to the great coaches there. Daniel was also proud to be part of the Menasha Blue Jays Football Team of 2008 to 2011.
He will be truly missed by his family, Yenny and Tom Rens, his sister Victoria, grandparents Oscar and Magalys Canas, Caracas, Venezuela, Junice Rens, Waupun, many aunts uncles and cousins in Venezuela, New York, Tennessee, Virginia and Wisconsin and his pet Molly the Cat.
There will be a memorial service for Cesar on Saturday December 12, 2015 at 1:00pm at First United Methodist Church, 325 East Franklin Street in Appleton.
