Carol Jayne Palmquist

Carol Jayne Palmquist was surrounded by her family when she lost her battle to Alzheimer’s - just moments after the Packers beat the Bears for a playoff spot.

Carol and her big brother Russell were born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa to their loving parents Harry and Francis Anderson. Carol attended Augustana College where she met John. They married and shared 67 wonderful years together.

Carol was a fun caring friend and loving mother to their three children - David, Kirsten (Hollynd) and Douglas (Lynn). Carol was a devoted volunteer for 27 years at Leaven and loved working at the Lawrence University Library for 10 years.

A Memorial will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024 at First English Lutheran Church. Family will be there to accept memories from friends at 1pm followed by a Service at 2pm.
