Bonnie Jean Zick

Bonnie J. Zick, 75, of Appleton, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 13, 2023, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. 

She was born in Appleton, Wisconsin on September 11, 1948, to Glen and Delores Schmidt. 

Bonnie raised two beautiful children, Adam and Brenda. 

She was a proud member of the “Red Hatters”. She enjoyed scrapbooking and really loved taking mini vacations with the grandchildren. She always looked forward to holidays with family and especially enjoyed a glass of wine during those times. 

She was a wonderful, kind and generous person who always brightened the day of anyone she came in contact with. She will be deeply missed by many.  

She is survived by her children, Brenda (Kevin) McHugh and Adam Zick, grandchildren Kileen Daul, Bruce Daul, Kaleb McHugh, great-grandchildren Neveah Daul, JJ Henn and 9 brothers and sisters. 

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and brother Glen Schmidt. 

A Celebration of Life will be held for Bonnie on Thursday, October 26 at Wichmann Funeral Home (537 N. Superior St., Appleton, WI 54911). Visitation time will take place from 4:00 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm.
