Bonita “Bonnie” M. McMillan (Trzebiatowski), age 77, left her earthly home and entered into eternal life with our Lord and Savior on October 1, 2026. After a long battle with Parkinson’s, she passed away peacefully with her loving husband by her side.

Bonnie was born September 2, 1949 to the late Bert and Evelyn (Laskowski) Trzebiatowski. She was baptized into the Lord’s family following her birth. In 1973, at St. Bernards Church in Appleton, the Lord blessed Bonnie with her marriage to Thomas (Tom) McMillan, her devoted husband of 53 years. Their marriage was filled with many blessings, including two loving daughters and two grandchildren. Bonnie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, always putting others before herself. The last several years were a daily struggle with the progression of her Parkinson’s, but she still remembered to laugh and enjoy the little moments, and in her last couple weeks found comfort in calling out to the Lord for help, knowing that he was with her. While Bonnie will be deeply missed, the Lord continues to bless her family with the comfort of her eternal peace and happiness with him in heaven, and with the promise that this isn’t good-bye. It’s just a temporary separation until we meet again in heaven. A message to Mom “We’ll see you when we get home, but no need to leave the light on. Jesus has that covered.” Praise be to the Lord!

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Thomas McMillan; her children, Amy (Matt) Miller and Erin (Mike) Ness; and her grandchildren, Emily and Christopher Miller. She is further survived by her siblings, Mike (Barb) Trzebiatowski, Renee Trzebiatowski, and Pat (Jill) Trzebiatowski; her nieces, Lisa, Kara, Angie, and Jennifer; as well as several great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Evelyn Trzebiatowski; her parents-in-law, Gerald and Norma McMillan; and her great-niece, Paula Davis.

A memorial visitation will be held for Bonnie from 9:00 - 11:00 AM on Friday, October 9, 2026 at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St, Appleton, WI 54911 with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 AM.  Bonnie will be laid to rest at St. Mary Cemetery in Appleton, WI at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made in memory of Bonnie to the Michael J.
