Billie Lee (Cafaro) Anderson passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on October 28, 2025. Loving daughter of the late Georgia and Frank Cafaro. A wise and loving mother to Patricia (Dan) Comperini, Deanna Young, Gina Welsh, Autumn (Jeffrey) Anderson-Berger, and “bonus mom” to Kerry (Bill) Filo, Kimberly Anderson-Drevs, and the late Christian Anderson. She was a devoted grandmother to 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; and a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. She is additionally survived by sisters, Frances Congdon and JoAnn (Don) Marek; and brother, William Cafaro. She was preceded in death by brother, Michael Cafaro; and sisters, Virginia Marino and Katherine Rademacher.
She graduated from the Hazelden Foundation, becoming a counselor, where she was revered as a valuable asset to the AODA treatment center. Theda Clark Hospital of Neenah requested the “best” Hazelden had to join their new AODA program. Billie accepted the position, and moved her small family to the Fox Valley. She soon met the love of her life, Robert “Andy” Anderson. After marrying, they co-founded Anderson Behavioral Consultants (ABC). She was a pioneer in leading women’s groups and other accredited programs. Always welcoming and compassionate for all, she was widely respected and treasured!
Billie was a friend of Bill Wilson for 53 years, “One Day At a Time."

Prayer of St. Francis of Asissi:
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace: where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy. O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
