Luedtke, Betty J. (nee Hammond)
Betty J. Luedtke (nee Hammond), 66, Appleton passed away Sunday morning, June 28, 2009 at the Appleton Health Care Center. Betty was born on June 8, 1943 to Clark and Helen (Pelky) Hammond in Bear Creek. She was married to the late Bud Smith and the late Don Luedtke. Betty was a long time member of the Moose Lodge and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Betty is survived by her mother, Helen Guyette; brothers and sister; Shirley Willems of Appleton, Donald (Elonda) Hammond of Appleton, Roger Hammond of Stevensville, Ed (Jane) Hammond of Appleton, Dave (Jean) Hammond of Appleton, and Clark (Betty) Hammond of Greenville, an Aunt, Selma Krueger of Nichols, many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her father, her husbands and one sister Joan Ritschke.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 11:00 AM at ST. JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 W. Lawrence St., with Father Larry Abler officiating. Friends may call on July 2, 2009 from 9:30 AM until the time of services at the Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Theda Care Hospice.
