WALLER, BETTY J.

Betty Waller, 84, of Appleton, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Colony Oaks Care Center. She was born on July 2, 1925 in Alma Center, the daughter of the late Fred and Evelyn (Kimball) Cooper. In 1943 Betty married Loren Waller in Blair, Wisconsin and he preceded her in death in 1992. She lived in Beloit until eight years ago when she moved to Appleton to be closer to family. Her family was her life. Betty enjoyed spending time camping and being with her family.

Betty is survived by her sons: Rick (Karen) Waller, Greenville and Rod (Deb) Waller, Greenville; grandchildren: Dave Waller and Mike (Robin) Waller; Chad Waller and Ginger (Bob) Cunningham; great grandchildren: Tyler and Kylie Waller; Kayla and Cody Cunningham; brother-in-law: Donald Granlund, Janesville; sisters-in-law: Lillian Cooper, Beloit and Betty (Cling) Severson, Janesville. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her brother, Doug Cooper and her sister, Dona Granlund.

The funeral service for Betty will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, Alma Center with Rev. Kathleen Jury officiating. Burial will take place at East Lawn Cemetery, Alma Center. The visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church are appreciated.
