Ben R. Salvador, age 83, passed away on April 17, 2026. He was born on September 14, 1942, in North Kohala, Hawaii, the son of Vincenti and Dominga (Epesa) Salvador. Ben graduated from North Kohala High School in 1960. He later married his high school sweetheart, Geraldeen “Geri” Lincoln, and they spent 28 years together. In Ben’s earlier years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and caring for his pets. He will be remembered most for his great sense of humor, love of family, and listening to Hawaiian and polka music.

Benjamin is survived by his children: Tracy (Steve) Nau and Vince (Heather) Salvador; 9 grandchildren: Michael (Amy) Berghuis, Stephanie (Derek) Rasmussen, Laura Verhagen, Megan (Taylor) Popp, Kali Salvador, Courtney (Chad) Burlage, Benjamin Salvador, Quinn Nau, and Teddy Kwak; 11 great grandchildren; a son-in-law: Joe Kwak; sisters: Mary and Florence; and other relatives and friends.

Benjamin was preceded in death by his wife; Geri; parents; daughter: Paula Kwak; 3 brothers: Jack, Tino, and Tommy; and 3 sisters: Sally, Angie, and Peggy.

A memorial service will be held at 5PM, on Friday, May 1, 2026, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St., Appleton. Visitation will be on Friday at the funeral home from 3PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated in his name.
