Beatrice Mae “Bea” Green, age 77, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, October 18, 2009 at Appleton Medical Center. She was born on August 31, 1932 in Freedom; daughter of the late Arnold and Evelyn (Vandenberg) Geurts. On June 10, 1953 she was united in marriage to Robert J. Green. Robert preceded her in death in 2006. To Our Loving Beautiful Mother!
Mom you were always caring, giving, and unselfish. You had so many talents and hobbies that you shared with all of us. Mom you helped your kids and grandkids with quilting, sewing, canning, baking, gardening, cleaning and even Sudoku!! Mom your mind amazed us. You could fix anything or solve any problem. You enjoyed attending any kind of sporting event for your kids and grandkids and rooting them on. Your smile was contagious! You loved when family/friends could get together no matter what the occasion, especially for your Christmas gathering. Mom you have left a permanent impression on our lives. We miss you and will always hold you in our hearts. Love you always…your family. Beatrice is survived by: her children, Nancy (Dean) Van Vreede, Kathy (Greg) Vosters, Diane (Ron) Geurts, Mary Green and Michael (Brenda) Green, her grandchildren, Dawn (Jay) Midbon, Keith (special friend, Michelle) Van Vreede, Ashley (special friend, Jake) Van Vreede, Lindsey (special friend, Chris) Vosters, Phil Vosters, Dana (special friend, Luke) Geurts, Chad (Jessica) Geurts, Jenna VandenHeuvel and Jacob, Garret and Dwight Green, her great grandson, Jace Midbon, brothers, Robert Geurts, Duwayne (Jeannie) Geurts and Richard Geurts, god-children, Norman Green, Carol Lein, Dan Green and Ken Bowers, her special friends, Jerry, Dori, and Al, Ivo and Carol and also by many other relatives and friends. Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents and Robert Green, son, Dennis Green, brother, Ronald, sisters-in-law, Betty and Laverne Geurts, niece, Patti Geurts, nephew, Jon Paul Geurts, godmother, Loretta Radloff, godfather, Bill Vandenberg and by many other relatives and friends. A Memorial Mass for Beatrice will be held on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 12:30 p.m. at ST. NICHOLAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, W2037 County Road S, Freedom with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Family and friends may visit at the church on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the mass. After the burial at St. Nicholas Cemetery, dinner will be held in honor of Beady at Colonial House (Kings Quarters Room). In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in her name.
