Audrey Jeanette Kramer

Audrey J. Kramer, 68, passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Apple Creek Place, Appleton. She was born on December 16, 1954, in Neenah, the daughter of Daniel and Mabel (Hanson) Luebke. Audrey was united in marriage to John Kramer on May 17, 1980, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Neenah. She was employed with Theda Clark Hospital on the drug and alcohol united for many years, and then at Winnebago County Social Services. She loved her family and friends, horses and her dogs, and having her hair and nails done. Audrey enjoyed camping, civil war reenacting with John for over 20 years, traveling, dancing, gardening and horseback riding. She was a skilled crafter; spending countless hours doing traditional rug hooking, tatting, and sewing her own civil war gowns. Audrey will always be remembered for her zest for life, being a social butterfly, never meeting a stranger she didn’t know, and her affinity for sparkly things.

Audrey is survived by her husband John; her dogs: Peanut and Miranda; siblings: Dennis (Linda) Luebke, Marci (Bob) Braun, Chuck (Ann) Luebke, Robert Luebke, Susan (Andrew) Jankowski; sisters-in-law: Lisa (Rick) and Nada, Carole Luebke, and Lynlee Luebke; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: infant Arden Luebke, Sharon (Ralph) Luedke, Ervin Luebke, and Ron Luebke; and 4 dogs: Fritz, Nicky, Tristan, and Gracie.

A memorial gathering will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Tri-County Chapel, on Friday, July 21, 2023. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated to the Oshkosh Humane Society.

Audrey’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at ThedaCare at Home and Hospice, especially Shanice Kuss for their wonderful care, compassion, and kindness.
