Arthur R. Schomisch

Arthur R. “Art” Schomisch, age 86 of Appleton, WI passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026. On November 15, 1958, he married Darlene Lorenz. They were married for 67 years.

Art is survived by his wife, Darlene; his children, Steve (Jeanne), Michael (Karen), Cindy, and Vicki (Jim) and their families.

Art was a well-known auctioneer for over 30 years, retiring in 2005. Art was a great salesman. At home, he enjoyed his flower gardens, watching sports on TV, and being outside in the yard with nature.
