Age 59, died on Wednesday, October 31, 2001 at his home, surrounded by his family. Archie was born on November 16, 1941 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, son of the late Archie E. an Iola “Ruth” (Fourtney) Richmond. On October 15, 1976, Archie married the former Marilyn K. Lesa in Appleton; she survives. He served his country as a member of the United States Army from 1959 – 1962 and had been employed by the Kimberly Clark Corporation for twenty-five years. Archie was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers, and also enjoyed darts, golf, and going to the casino.

He is survived by his wife: Marilyn Richmond of Fullerton, California; five daughters: Sue (Tom) Hietpas of Little Chute; Darlene Renier of DePere; Carol (Jody) Reinhardt of Appleton; Justine (Roy Reynolds) Lett of Monterey, California; Lisa (Joe) Montoya of Placentia, California; a son: Michael Lett of Fullerton, California. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters: Bernard “Bucky” Phillips, Richard ‘Mike” Magnuson, Joyce Willey, Gerald Magnuson, Daniel Magnuson, Betty Magnuson, Robert Magnuson, Ronald Magnuson, and Debbie Angel. His grandchildred include Paula, Troy, Travis, Eric, Dustin, Kendra, Trista, Toby, and Olivia. He also leaves behind his friends and co-workers from Kimberly Clark.

Funeral services for Archie will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, November 7, 2001 at the funeral home with Rev. Robert Selle officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until the hour of the service.
