Antoinette Edna Murray

Antoinette Edna “Toni” Murray, age 89, of Appleton, WI died on Wednesday, October 19, 2026 in Kaukauna Wisconsin.

Toni was born on January 13, 1937 in Fond du Lac, WI to the late Ralph and Edna Bastien. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. Toni married Richard “Dick” Murray on September 1, 1956 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fond du Lac. She had several jobs over the years including at the Register of Deeds office in Fond du Lac and for 23 years at Fox River Paper in Appleton before her retirement. Toni was a devoted member of St. Paul Lutheran Church Appleton where she was active with the St. Paul Ladies Aid and Altar Guild. She stayed very fit over the years and enjoyed playing golf and volleyball. Dick, Toni and the boys vacationed with high school friends Pat and Buzzy and their families for many years, and later with Jerry and Connie in Florida and sister Janette in Arizona.

Toni is survived by two sons Patrick Murray (special friend Dawn); Michael and Stephanie Murray; grandchildren Kyle Murray, Kelly Murray, Hannah and Mitchell Schrieber, Father Nicholas Stellpflug; great grandchildren Chiara, Vincent and Colette Schreiber. She was proceeded in death by husband Dick of nearly 70 years, her parents Ralph and Edna Bastien, brother in-law Tom Murray, sister in-law Peggy Murray, sister and husband Janette and Ed Leonhardt.

Our family would like to thank Lisa Gunderson APNP with ThedaCare for her compassionate care over the years. We would also like to thank all staff at The Landings Memory Care Unit in Kaukauna who cared for our mom as if she was their own mom, and the caregivers with Preceptor Home Hospice.

The funeral will be on November 20, 2026 at the Tri-County Chapel Funeral Home at 1592 Oneida Street in Menasha, WI. Visitation will be held from 9:30am to 11:00am followed by a short memorial service.
