Annabelle “Annie” Mary Weber (Brittnacher), age 92 of Askeaton, WI joined her heavenly kingdom on August 2, 2025. She was born to John and Myrtle (Gilbert) Brittnacher on August 16, 1932 in Greenleaf, WI. After graduating from high school, she married the love of her life, Arthur Weber in September of 1951, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Wrightstown, WI. While Annie worked a couple of odd jobs through the years, she spent the majority of her life as a full-time mom to 9 wonderful children who were often times a handful and a half.
Annie was a vivacious, energetic, and joyous woman who had a true zest for life and always seized each day to its full potential. She had a knack for hosting parties and enjoyed everyone’s company as much as they enjoyed hers. She reveled in having everyone gathered around her and there was always room for everyone (and one more) at her table. Outside of being the caretaker and financier of the family, Annie spent her free time fishing, playing cards, and traveling. She was also a talented baker, gardener, and canner. Annie was a truly devout and faithful woman who always made room for God in her life and made sure her kids made room for Him too. More than anything, though, Annie loved her family and cherished every family get-together and every moment she could spend with them.
Annie will be deeply missed by her children, Sharon (Jim), Cathy (Tim), Jerry (Sue), Jean (Bill), Jim (Kathy), Richard (Claudine), and Mike (Christine); her sons-in-law, Bob and Jerry; 32 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren with more on the way; her brother, Jim (Stella); her sister-in-law, Helen; as well as many nieces, nephews, other extended relatives, and dear friends, especially her friend, Ione.
In heaven, Annie rejoins her husband, Art; her parents, John and Myrtle; her daughters, Cindy and Peggy; siblings, Ray, Butch, Cliff, Dorothy, Margaret, and Evie and their spouses; Art’s parents, Joseph and Johanna; and Art’s siblings and their spouses.
A funeral visitation will be held for Annie from 9-11 AM on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1100 W. Ryan St, Brillion, WI 54110 with a mass to follow at 11 AM. Annie will be laid to rest with her husband at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Askeaton, WI. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to NEXTGEN ALS in honor of Annie’s wishes.
Annie’s family would like to extend a special thanks to Brillion West Haven for their loving care, compassion, and expertise throughout the years. Thank you for your “million dollar” care.
