Annette M. Rowe

There are some who bring light so great to the world that even after they are gone the light remains.

Surround by her loved ones, Annette Rowe passed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 27, 2026 after a strong and courageous battle with breast cancer. She was greeted at heaven’s gates by her father, grandmother, cousin, a friend (Lori Johnson), and many other family members who went before her.

Born November 27, 1975, Annette was the daughter of Jean M. Berkers of Kaukauna and the late Richard Berkers. She found the love of her life in Harlowe Rowe, and they were married on September 27, 2003, building a strong partnership and approaching 23 years of marriage together. Their son, Harlowe Richard Rowe, was her absolute pride and joy.

Annette graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1994 and later earned her RMS degree to pursue her career in the medical field. She dedicated 30 plus years to the Ascension Medical Group, serving patients across both the hospital and medical offices with unmatched compassion and dedication. To her Richmond Street Ascension team, she was much more than a co-worker – they were an extension of her family, sharing deep friendships and a mutual commitment to helping others in their time of need.

Outside of work, Annette treasured her time with family and friends. Her sharp wit, radiant smile, kind heart shone through in everything she did, and her infectious laugh will be profoundly missed. A passionate sports enthusiast, she could always be found cheering on the Green Bay Packers in green and gold, or donning maize and blue to root for her beloved Michigan Wolverines during football season. Annette shared an unbreakable bond with a lifelong circle of friends who has stood by her side since childhood. Together, they were each other’s anchors, creating a lifetime of shared memories from camping trips, girl’s trips, late night chats, a night out playing volleyball or shooting darts and sporting events to life’s smallest and biggest milestones. Her passing leaves an irreplaceable void in this group that will forever hold her memory close.

Survivors include her husband, Harlow Rowe and their loving son, Harlowe Richard Rowe; her mother, Jean Berkers; her mother-in-law, Vicky Rowe; her sisters, Connie and Katie; her brothers, Chris (Sandy) Berkers and Corey (Nicci) Berkers; her sisters-in-law, Lisa Rowe and Jennifer (Jeff) Ehren; her nieces and nephews, Miranda, Emily, Marlee, Mila, Charli, Samantha, Joey, and Josh (Laura); and her aunts and uncles, Joanmarie “Toby” Berken, Jackie (Able) Rodriguez, Jim (Laura) Van Eperen, Jenny Smith, and Julie (Richard) Merritt (also her Godmother). She will also especially be missed by her many cousins who she was so close with: Justin, Elmer, Nicole, Marcus, Jackie, Hollyann, Adam, Aaron, Angeline, Madeleine, James, Thomas, Alex, Andi and Blake.

Annette was proceeded in death by her father, Richard Berkers; her stepmother, Penny Berkers; her grandparents, Joseph Van Eperen, Sr., Eloisa E. Van Eperen, Harlowe E. Rowe, Olive Rowe, Alvin Schlemme, Verna Schlemme; her cousin, Eric J. Merritt; and her uncle, Joseph M. Van Eperen, Jr.

A memorial visitation will be held for Annette from 11 AM - 2 PM on Saturday, September 12, 2026 with a memorial service immediately to follow at Peace Family United Methodist Church, 2300 E Wisconsin Ave, Kaukauna, WI 54130.  

Annette, I fell in love with you (and your beautiful hair) from the moment we met. That stays stead-fast throughout and beyond her last moments here on earth.

My sweet Annette, thank you for every smile that lit up the room and every hug and every wonderful moment we shared. A piece of my heart went with you and of piece of yours stays here with me forever. Until we meet again; don’t forget how deeply you are loved that remains unbroken through this transition.

Nette, you are my person and you are so deeply missed. Your laughter still echoes in my heart; I am a better person because of knowing you; better for loving you. Rest in peace, my dearest friend. The world is a little less bright without you, but my life is infinitely brighter because you were in it.
