Anne Virginia Moran

Anne V. Moran, 95, passed away on November 1, 2023, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Neenah with her daughter-in-law at her side. She was born on April 13, 1928, in L’anse, MI. Anne was united in marriage to Harlan “Buggs” Moran on July 22, 1950, and he preceded her in death on November 19, 2012, after 62 years of marriage. Anne enjoyed reading, going to the casino, playing cards, and watching the Brewers and Packers. Above all, she loved her family the most. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved to spend time with them baking cookies for Christmas, watching them play sports throughout their childhood, and watching the Price is Right.

Anne is survived by a daughter-in-law: Vicki Moran; grandchildren: Travis (Jenny Conery & her daughter Zoey) Moran and Kelly (Devin) Zettler; great grandchildren: Remi and another granddaughter Zettler arriving in December; sister-in-laws: Gina Peotter and Phyllis Moran, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Anne was also preceded in death by her children: Jeff, Sandy, and John Moran, her parents: Joseph and Anna Connors, and siblings: Dan, Margaret, Jo, and Irene.

Funeral services will be at 6:00 pm on Thursday, November 9, 2023, at the Wichmann Funeral Home – Laemmrich Chapel, 312 Milwaukee St., Menasha. Visitation will be on Thursday at the funeral home 4:00 pm until the time of the service. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Neenah.
