Anna J. Kozlowski

Anna Kozlowski, age 95, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, May 19, 2011. Anna was born in Princeton on July 23, 1915, daughter of the late Anton and Anna (Kanke) Napieralla. In October of 1937, she married Bernard Kozlowski who preceded her in death in 1970. For many years she worked in various department stores in Appleton, including J.C. Penny, Sears, and Prange-Way. Later, she also operated a mobile home community, Fox Valley Estates. Anna enjoyed nature, gardening, joy rides, and shopping.

Anna is survived by four children: Al (Barb) Kozlowski of Appleton; Judy Kitts of Appleton; Ken (Sharon) Kozlowski of Menasha; and Wayne (Deidre) Kozlowski of Appleton. She will be missed by her loving grandchildren: David Kozlowski, Debra (Todd) Lemmens, Brenda (Mike) Gorges, Bob (Julie) Butelefski, Connie Niemuth, Kathy (Tom) Schumann, Stacey Kitts, Nicole Kozlowski, Sarah Kozlowski, Jason Radliff, and Charlotte Radliff. Anna is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Ashley, Andy, Michael, Brad, Amanda, Miranda, Adam, Brian, Ben, Jordan, Rhiannon, Griffin, Justin, Kyle, Devan, Brooke, Cole, Chloe, Caitlyn, and Shawnna; a sister: Dolores (Harold) Hermsen of Temple Terrace, Florida; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and her dear friends: Melva Miller and Jim and Carol Plymire. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bernard in 1970, a brother Frank (Margaret) Napieralla, and sisters Veronica (Roy) Elmerick and Mary (John) Pytlak.

The funeral service for Anna will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 23, 2011 at the Wichmann Funeral Home, Tri County Chapel, with Rev. James Plymire officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home chapel on Monday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
