Ann Marie Fischer

Ann M. Fischer, age 52, of Appleton, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2011 after a courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was born on December 14, 1958 in Oshkosh, the daughter of Eugene and Brenda (Thiede) Baitinger. Ann graduated from Appleton East High School in 1978. She loved her job at Comtec and formed many friendships. Ann enjoyed baking, walking, listening to music and being around animals. Her greatest joy was surrounding herself with family and friends, and everyone enjoyed her kind-hearted, happy and caring nature.

Ann is survived by her son: Jimmy Fischer, Appleton; mother: Brenda Reinke, Tustin; brother: Steve Baitinger, Menasha; sister: Becky (Troy) Thomas, Highland, California and former husband: Rich Fischer, Neenah. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The memorial service for Ann will be held at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL. Rev. Michael Williams and Chaplain Ron Urmanski will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until the time of service.

The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Province Terrace Villas, especially Roxanne, for their excellent care and compassion shown to Ann and ourselves.
