Angel Marie Schroeder, 50, of Clayton, WI died Wednesday March 6 2019 surrounded by family and friends at Theda Clark Medical Center in Appleton, WI. Angel was battling congestive heart failure. Angel was born in Berlin, WI, Dec, 12, 1968, to Victor and Peggy (Pompa) Immel. She married Thomas Schroeder on September 7, 2014 in Lena, WI.
Angel spent many years housekeeping at Radisson Paper Valley and cleaning with Building Services Group. During those years she touched the lives of many people and developed lifelong friendships.
Angel was a passionate animal lover and devoted much of her time to caring for pets and supporting animal rescue. She was an avid motorcycle passenger and enjoyed long rides with her husband. Angel loved to camp and some of her most cherished memories were camping trips with her children.
Angel was a dedicated Oakland Raiders fan and was known for her collection of Raiders clothing and memorabilia. Angel’s love for her Raiders also showed in her collection of Raiders tattoos.
Angel is survived by her husband Tom, son Tim (Missy) Helmeid, daughter Nicole (Charlie) Szczuublewski, Daughter Alyssa Helmeid and son Javis Gonzalez. Grandchildren Katie, Carter and Abby Neff. Father Victor. Beloved sisters Tammy (Tony) Mikula, and Michelle Immel, nephew Jessie Crosby, and brother Shawn Schmit.
Angel will be missed by her puppies Gemma, Kaiser, and Harley, kitties Beth, Sassy and Snuggles and her Suger Gliders Tommie, Speedie and Zena.
Memorial Service will be from Noon until 3PM, Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Wichman Funeral Home 537 Superior St., Appleton, WI 54911.
In lieu of flowers the family will have a memorial for animal rescue.
