Andrew R. Hausserman

Andy Hausserman, age 22, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday morning, June 20, 2013. Andy was born in Appleton on July 19, 1990, the son of Dr. Robert and Carol (Mroczkowski) Hausserman. Everyone who really knew Andy, knew that he was kind and generous, charming, always conscious of the needs of others, and was a hard worker. He also had a certain charisma that endeared him to many.

He is survived by his parents: Robert and Carol Hausserman of Appleton; three brothers and a sister: John Landin of Las Vegas, Christine Hausserman of San Diego, James Hausserman of Appleton; and Daniel Hausserman of Des Moines; a paternal grandmother: Verna Lee Falk of Nebraska; a maternal grandmother: Emily Mroczkowski of Seymour; several aunts and uncles: Jerry (Linda) Mroczkowski of Florida, Shirley (Jim) Splan of Florida, Leo Mroczkowski, Jr. and his partner Laura of Florida, and Gary (Cheralyn) Haussermann of Nebraska. Andy was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Paul Haussermann and Leo Mroczkowski.

The funeral liturgy for Andy will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1617 W. Pine Street in Appleton, with Fr. Dennis M. Ryan officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home in Appleton on Tuesday (TODAY) from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and on Wednesday morning at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. There will be a prayer service at 7:30 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Andy didn't always make the best choices in life, but he was most always loveable, and he was definitely always loved.
