Alyce L. Tittman

Formerly of N6435 Fairy Springs Road, Hilbert, passed away Monday, March 20, 2001 at a St. Paul Elder Services in Kaukauna. Alyce was born in Denmark, Wisconsin on December 23, 1913, daughter of the late David and Ella (Plantico) Enz. On July 11, 1935, she married Francis G. Tittman in Crandon; he preceded her in death on September 13, 1986. Alyce was a graduate of the Kaukauna Teachers’ College and taught elementary school for one year prior to her marriage. Later, she and Francis owned and operated the Kaukauna Food Mart at the corner of Doty and Lawe Streets in Kaukauna.

She is survived by her son: Tom (Karen) Tittman of Chilton; three grandchildren: Adam Tittman, Sarah Tittman, and Cathy Hansen; two brothers: Theodore (Angie) Enz of Appleton and Hugo Enz of Denver, Colorado; a sister: Ethel Marcott of DePere. Alyce was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1986, a daughter and son-in-law Carol (John) Hansen, brothers Lloyd, Harold, Lester, Daniel, and Lee Enz, an infant sister Evangeline, and a sister-in-law Lucille Enz.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2001 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Walter Steinbach officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 Noon until the hour of the service.
