Alice M Koepke

Alice M. Koepke, 99, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Green Tree Health and Rehab in Clintonville. Alice was born on March 19, 1916 to Reinhardt and Matilda (Hirte) Schimmelpfennig in Weyauwega. On June 5, 1937 she was united in marriage to Lester Koepke. They owned the Spudnut and later Koepke's Restaurant in Appleton for many years. She enjoyed playing bingo and her cats. Alice was a former member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church and a member of St. John's Lutheran church in Tigerton.

Alice is survived by five children; Neil (Marilyn) Koepke, Eugene (Anne) Koepke, Donna (Edward) Linn, Wayne (Kathleen) Koepke, John (Kathy) Koepke, 16 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, a daughter-in-law, Lulu Koepke, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lester, a son William, and a great great grandchild, Jonathon.

The private funeral service for Alice will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2015 at the Wichmann Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Highland Memorial Park.
