Age 66, passed away at Cherry Meadows Hospice on Sunday, April 12, 2009. She was born in San Diego, CA on September 6, 1942 the daughter of the late Allan and Minnie Faye (Varner) Thomas. She moved from California to Wisconsin, where she met Gary. On March 19, 1967 she married her husband of 43 years, Gary Tarnow. They lived in Washington, California, and eventually moved back to Wisconsin. Alice Faye was well known for working as a customer service representative, always going out of her way to assist customers, at Mill's Fleet Farm for 14 years. She loved people and always had a smile on her face. Alice Faye loved animals and the outdoors. She cherished her yearly trips to the trailer near Boulder Junction, swimming and camping with her grandchildren.

Alice Faye is survived by her husband, Gary; daughters: Tina (Chad) Vannes of Chilton and Deborah Hopp of Combined Locks; grandchildren: Alan, Robert, Logan, and Justin; and brothers: Allan Benjamin Thomas, Jr. and Timothy (Brenda) Thomas.

The funeral service will be at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2009 at the Wichmann Funeral Home, TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

The family extends a special thank you to the staff at the Martha Siekman Center, third floor at Appleton Medical Center, and Cherry Meadows Hospice for their loving care.
