Adeline R. Eickhoff

Adeline R. Eickhoff, 91, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2013 at Appleton Health Care. Adeline was born on June 29, 1922 to Carl and Louise (Peters) Schwartz. Adeline was united in marriage to Harlie Eickhoff on June 27, 1942. She worked for many years first at the Fox River Knitting Mills and then at Zwickers Knitting Mills. Adeline loved baking, canning gardening and going out to Poygan. Adeline was a huge Packer fan and always watching her beloved Brett Farve. She was an amazing mother and grandmother and the time she spent with her family will always be treasured.

Adeline is survived by her daughter, Shirley Merkes of Larson, grandchildren; Scott Merkes of New Franken and Dale Merkes of Appleton, two great grandchildren; Bryce and Logan Merkes, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Adeline was preceded in death by her husband Harlie and two sons James and Tommy.

The funeral service for Adeline will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 11:00 AM at FIRST ENGLISH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 326 East North St. A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the church.
