Adele Ilona Witek

Adele Ilona Witek, 81, passed away peacefully on Sunday October 6, 2024 at her home with her family by her side.

Adele was a wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother and was a woman never afraid to tackle a challenge. She was an amazing artisan with a wide range of creative interests but excelled in creating beautiful pieces of Norwegian Rosemaling. Rosemaling was her passion. After a life full of adventures, she is finally at peace. Auf Wiedersehen, Schatz.

Adele is survived by her husband of 59 years, Werner Witek; sons Thomas (Elizabeth) and Christian (Erika). Grandsons Alexander, William and Justin. She is further survived by her older sister Waltraud (Horst) Knaak, brother-in-law Willi Witek and nieces Sylvia Knaak, Petra Ihde and Anita Witek.

The family will hold a small, private memorial service.
