WILLIAM J. “BILL” KRONER

William J. “Bill” Kroner, 60, of Kimberly passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 27, 2009 at the Appleton Medical Center. William was born on November 26, 1949 to the late Leo and Rose (Vande Hey) Kroner in Appleton. He married Patricia Ruppel on May 21, 1983. Bill was a true family man; his family was the center of his life. He loved to grill and cook for them. Bill was a coach and mentor to many of Kimberly's youth and he started The Cardinal Youth Organization with Dick Hedtke. He also served many years on the board of the Kimberly Rec Association. Bill was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching them and playing them especially golf and softball. He loved to coach and watch his children and grandchildren play sports, most of all he loved being Papa. Bill also loved to read and do puzzle games. You could always catch him sitting out front of his house in the summer.
William is survived by his wife; Patricia, Kimberly, 4 children; Michelle (Steve) Bourassa, Kaukauna, Amanda Kroner, Kimberly, Peter (Tracy) Fahrenkrug, Neenah, Andy (Special friend Ali) Fahrenkrug, Appleton, 3 grandchildren Aquinnah and Alex Fahrenkrug, and John Wolfgram Jr., brothers and sisters; Dennis (Jill)Kroner, Kimberly, Bob Kroner, Kimberly, Mary Conner, Kimberly, Barb (Joe) Abendroth, Menasha, Lynn (Jeff) Schuh, Mackville, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many close friends. Bill was preceded in death by his sister Carol Kroner, sister-in-law Joyce Kroner and a special friend John Wolfgram.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at 6 PM at Holy Spirit Parish, Kimberly (600 E. Kimberly Ave.) with Father David Beaudry officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3 PM until the time of the Mass at Holy Spirit Parish.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in Bill's name.
