Virginia Newling

Virginia J. Newling, 75, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Cherry Meadows.

Virginia was born on February 17, 1936 to Hollis and Florence (O'Rourke) McLeod in Detroit, Michigan. She married Maurice Newling on March 12, 1954. She worked for many years as an upholster at Peters Upholsters. When Virginia was younger she was a concert pianist. She also enjoyed playing bingo and was an avid hockey fan. Most of all her family was the most important thing in her life and Virginia enjoyed all of the times she spent with her family.

Virginia is survived by four sons; Gene (Connie) Newling, Jim (Carol) Newling, Greg (Karen) Newling, and John Newling, all of Appleton, six grandchildren; Elizabeth, Jaime, Abiegail, Michelle, Aaron, and David, and a special friend Andy.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister Carol.

A celebration of Virginia's life will be held at a later time. The family would like to thank Dr Leonard Leveille, his staff and Cherry Meadows for all of the wonderful care Virginia received.
