Veronica ''Verna'' Grace Gogolewski

Age 86 died at St. Paul Home on Friday, June 8, 2001. She was born on January 29, 1915 in Princeton, Wisconsin the daughter of the late Vincent and Anna (Resheske) Charapata. Verna married Stanley Gogolewski on May 21, 1935. She was a member of St. Josaphat Catholic Church. She is survived by a son: Robert (Mary) Gogolewski, Stoughton, Wisconsin; a daughter: Joyce (Frank) De Jong, Kaukauna; 7 grandchildren: Lynn (Bill) Lenling, Jim (Joni) Gogolewski, Kate (Chris) Larsh, Michael Gogolewski, Greg (Tracy) De Jong, Jeff De Jong, Steve (Billie Jo) De Jong; 9 great grandchildren: Mia and Ana Lenling, Madeline Gogolewski; Collin and Chloe Larsh, Kristen, Brittney, Danielle and Tianna De Jong. She is further survived by 2 sisters-in-law: Luella Gogolewski and Jean Caudle and numerous nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her husband: Stanley in 1984; a brother: Alex Charapata, and two sisters: Pauline Stelter and Mary Charapata. The funeral liturgy will be on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Josaphat Catholic Church, 1333 Walnut Street, Oshkosh with Fr. Robert Stegmann officiating. Friends will be received directly at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service (11:00 a.m.). Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Oshkosh.
