Sophia Noelle Sijak

Sophia Noelle Sijak, precious daughter of Kevin J. Ratajczak and Jennifer E. Sijak entered into life on December 19, 2007 in Appleton. On February 3, 2009 Sophia passed away unexpectedly at her home.
Sophia touched all the lives of everyone she came into contact with. Her smile just filled a room but more importantly her laughter was very contagious. She loved her little stuffed animal, Piglet, which she carried with her. Sophia enjoyed bath time; her parents can recall all the kicking and splashing until the water was cold. Most of all she loved to spend time with her parents and family even if it was just to cuddle and give hugs.
In addition to Sophia's parents, Kevin J. Ratajczak and Jennifer E. (fiancée Steven Loose) Sijak , she is also survived by her older brother, Spencer Sumner; maternal grandparents: Elizabeth (Daryl) Sijak; paternal grandparents: James (Denise) Ratajczak; three aunts: Michelle (Tom) Leitermann, Amie Ratajczak, and Renee (Jace) Buster; three uncles: Jeffrey Ratajczak (special friend Shannon Pastovic), Daren Ratajczak, and Tyler (Elizabeth) Ratajczak; and numerous cousins.
A Funeral Service for Sophia will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Christ the Rock Community Church, W6254 Highway 10-114, Menasha. Rev. John Kieffer will be the officiant. A time of visitation and support will be held at the church on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in Sophia's name.
