Russell A Hassell

May 16, 1937 — March 18, 2014

Russell Allen Hassell, Sr. passed away on March 18, 2014 in Summerfield, Florida. He was born on May 16, 1937 in Bear Creek, Wisconsin. After graduation from Black Creek High School, Russell served in the US Air Force from 1955 to 1959 and married the love of his life, Yvonne Grace Hassell on May 22, 1965.

Russell is survived by his children: Allen (Lori); Stephen (Sandra); Julie; Janice (Chris) Pahl; Russell, Jr.; Beth; Harold; and Vincent along with ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters: David (Nancy), Joan (Duane) Moder, Ronald (Marlene), Richard (Judy), Carol Schavet, Clair, Chris (Cheryl), Lois (Kirby) Bonnin, Gale (Barb), Diane (Rick) Bucklin, and Dennis (Patti).

Russell is preceded in death by his loving wife, Yvonne Grace Hassell, his mother and father, Louis and Klementine, and Brothers Mark and Curtis.

The Hassell family invites friends and family to join us in celebrating Russell's life at the Wichmann Funeral Home located at 537 N. Superior Street in Appleton, 54911 on Saturday, March 29, 2014. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.
