“Remember Me”
To the living I am gone, and to the sad I will never return.
To the happy I am at peace, and to the angry I was cheated.
But to the faithful I have never left. I cannot speak, but I can listen…
I cannot be seen, but my presence can be felt.
I can no longer lead but I can walk beside you.
So as you stand gazing at a beautiful sunset or the moon in its endless sky,
Remember Me.
As you look in wonder at a mighty oak tree or listen to the song of a bird,
Remember Me.
Remember me in your heart, your thoughts, and in your memories.
Remember the times we loved and the times we fought…
the times we laughed and the times we cried…
the times we teased and the times we shared.
For if you think of me, I will not have died.
I have only gone with Jesus.
