Patricia Manial

Patricia Manial, 78, of Appleton, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday, December 5, 2011 at Parkside Care Center.

Patricia was born on May 15, 1933 to the late William and Frances (Rebarge) Brandel in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Walter Manial on July 10, 1953. Patricia was wonderful and giving person who enjoyed being around people. She was a great cook and was very crafty, making wonderful Christmas bulbs. Patricia was Irish and had a great since of humor and she was a very strong person. Most of all her family was the most important to her and the time she spent with family and friends will always be cherished. She sang with the Sweet Adeline's and was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church.

Patricia is survived by six children; Geraldine Wolff, Appleton, Janette Manial, Menasha, Mary Ellen Viator, Seattle, Washington, Jacqueline (David) Flanigan, Black Creek, Jill Manial, Appleton and David (Deborah) Manial, Appleton, eight grandchildren; Brian, Stephanie, Erica, Nicole, Mackenzie, Darek, Cody and Devin and one great grandchild; Jadon. She is further survived by her siblings; Wayne (Diane) Brandel, Fran (Harold) Eddy, Phyllis (Ernie) Kueffner, Peter John (Ann) Brandel and Larry (Marge) Brandel, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, and her siblings; Edsel, Richard, William and James Brandel, Cecelia Novak, Mary Little, and Jeannie Stevens.

The funeral liturgy for Patricia will be held on
Friday, December 9, 2011 at 11:00 AM at ST. THOMAS MORE CATHOLIC CHURCH (1810 N. McDonald St) with Fr. Gerald Falk officiating. A time of visitation will be held on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the church. The family would like to thank Fr. Gerald Falk for all of his support for Mom and the family through this difficult time, and to Parkside Care Center for all their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
