Parker Beauchamp

Parker Beauchamp, age 11, passed away in the arms of his Grandpa and Grandma Stanek on Friday evening, September 30, 2011. Parker died from kidney failure due to the effects of Joubert Syndrome. Parker was born August 21, 2000, in Beloit, the son of Jeffrey and Brenda (Stanek) Beauchamp. From 2003 until 2010 he attended school in the Milton School District, and was currently a 5th Grader at Woodland School in Kimberly. You can't imagine how much Parker loved going to school and interacting with the other kids, the therapists, and his many teachers. He loved music, having his feet rubbed, camping, swimming, riding horses, and being outside with the wind in his hair. He had a captivating smile, a contagious laugh, and loved taking walks with Grandpa Stanek.

Parker leaves behind his parents: Brenda Beauchamp of Kimberly and Jeffrey Beauchamp of Racine; two brothers: Alex and Caden Beauchamp, both at home; his grandparents: Roger (Anita) Stanek of Madison and Kenneth (Vicky) Beauchamp of Racine; a great-grandmother: Vivian Hensley; an aunt: Debbie (Dan) Van Handel of Appleton and two very special cousins: Eric and Lauren; and an uncle: Kevin Beauchamp and his children Kylie and Logan. There are also many great-aunts and great-uncles. Parker was preceded in death by his great-grandpa Fred Hensely, his uncle Christopher; his great-grandma Florence Beauchamp, and his great-grandparents Robert and Marriam Stanek.

Funeral Services for Parker will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Dick Schaefer of Appleton Alliance Church officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3:00 pm until the time of the services. A memorial fund is being established to honor Parker's memory.

The family would like to thank the many caregivers who watched over Parker during his short life. They include the wonderful people at the University of Wisconsin Children's Hospital, his teachers and therapists, and most recently everyone at Affinity Hospice: Tammy, Heather, and Andrea. You will never know how much your love and care has meant to all of us.
