Norman W. Andrews, 84, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2013 after a brief battle with cancer at Oakridge Gardens. Norm was born on May 13, 1928 to Kleber and Mata (Schlump) Andrews. He served in the US Army from September of 1950 until November of 1952 and served in Korea where he received a bronze star and a purple heart. On January 23, 1954 he was united in marriage to Lois Mae Dreschel at Trinity Lutheran Church. He worked as a carpenter at Fluor Brothers construction in Oshkosh for over 30 years. Norm loved camping, fishing, gardening, and spending time outside. He also enjoyed watching the Brewers and the Packers. Most of all Norm loved to spend time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and those times will always be treasured. Norm was a member of American Legion Post # 38, Bethel Lutheran Church and the Carpenters Union.

Norm is survived by his six children, Dan Andrews, Menasha, Cindy (Terry) Noeller, Appleton, Steve Andrews, Menasha, Lee Andrews, Stephensville, Pam (Dave) Bramer, Neenah and Keith Andrews, Menasha; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Mary Dreschel, Wally and Susie Dreschel, Gerald (Karen) Dreschel, Shirley Jorgenson, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Norm was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Lois Mae, brother, David, sisters; Bernice, Ethel and Ollis.

Funeral services for Norm will be held on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at BETHEL EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 829 Appleton Road, Menasha with the Rev. Samuel C. Degner officiating. Family and friends may visit at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Entombment will take place in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Oakridge Gardens, and St. Elizabeth Hospital 4th floor staff. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established to benefit Bethel Ev. Lutheran Church, Menasha.
